Profits up at recruitment firm Saongroup.com

Dublin-based online recruitment company Saongroup.com has reported an increase in profits for last year.
It made a pre-tax profit of €2.8m, up from €2.6m in 2009, as revenue jumped by around 30% to €29.7m. Saongroup.com, which is owned by Denis O'Brien, owns Irishjobs.ie in Ireland and has operations in 17 countries.
The company says it will be focusing on China in the next few years. It was operating in 20 Chinese cities by the end of last year, and plans to expand this number to 100 by the end of 2012.
It also expanded its business in Central America last year.
