China’s professional employment market continues to show signs of resilience, stability and growth, according to a report released today.
APEX RECRUITER’s China Employee Intentions Report 2014-2015 found 65% of professionals are likely to change roles in the coming 12 months, with digital and IT sectors having the highest likelihood of moving to a new company, at 92% and 74% respectively.
“China’s professional employment market remains very positive overall and the optimism in the market is reflected in jobseeker intentions as well as salary expectations,” said Jack Lee, Managing Director of APEX RECRUITER.
More than half the surveyed employees expect a salary increase of 16% or more in their next role, while 61% indicate they plan to ask their current employer for a salary increase.
